A friendly club for anyone into scale models - planes, tanks, cars, ships, sci-fi and everything in between. All skill levels welcome, from first kit to fifty years of experience.
Northern Area Modellers is a club based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne for scale modellers of all kinds - whether you build aircraft, armour, cars, ships, sci-fi, trains, or anything else that comes in a box with instructions (or without). We meet regularly to share builds, swap tips, and enjoy the hobby together.
Our biggest event of the year is our Modelling Competition and Swap & Sell, held annually with dozens of classes, N.N.L voting (anyone who enters can vote), and trophies across the board. We also run a Model Kit Swap & Sell once a year to raise money for charity. We meet once a month to catch up on what's happening with the club or the modelling community in general. Everyone is welcome at our monthly meeting or any of our events, so feel free to drop in any time. At our monthly meetings we discuss anything from what we've been up to, show off our recently finished or "in progress" builds and/or purchases and plan our future events, such as our Club Display at Model Expo. We are open to all ages, skill levels and genres covering anything to do with scale modelling.
Come along to a meeting, enter the next show, or just say hello - everyone's welcome. More info →
