A day of scale-modelling competition, swap & sell tables and spectator voting - every dollar raised goes to our chosen charity.
All the info you'll need regarding our annual show.
The Modelling Competition & Swap Meet is Northern Area Modellers' annual celebration of scale modelling - bring along your best builds, get judged across 24 competition classes, and see how you stack up against fellow modellers from across the region.
Judging will be N.N.L Style, judged by entrants. This year we are introducing a brand new electronic voting system to speed up the vote counting process and reduce delays. All spectators through the door can also vote for People's Choice. There'll be swap & sell tables from fellow hobbyists and local traders, plus a raffle running throughout the show.
Every dollar raised on the day - entry fees, raffle tickets, swap & sell table takings - goes directly to our chosen charity.
Fill in the entry form with your details and each model you're bringing - takes a few minutes.
Entries close at 12:30pm. Online entries are preferred and can be entered up until 12:00pm.
Your models go on display for judging across the day, and for everyone to enjoy.
Electronic voting closes at 2:30pm with award presentations soon after.
Entering a model is priced per model, with a cap of $20, so there's no reason to hold your best builds back. Just visiting? Spectator entry is a flat fee, with a family pass available. There's no set limit to the number of children you can bring on a family pass.
All proceeds from the show go towards our chosen charity.
Aircraft, armour, cars, ships, sci-fi, figures, dioramas and more - plus a dedicated Junior/Intermediate class for builders under 18. Models may be entered in one class only.
All models are eligible for Best in Show and People's Choice. Australian-subject builds are automatically eligible for the Simon Breust Memorial Trophy too.
Anyone can book a Swap & Sell table to buy, sell or trade hobby-related gear - grab a raffle ticket while you're there too. Every dollar raised goes to our chosen charity.
